REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit Services in order to purchase equipment for the QIA Nauttiqsuqtiit guardian program across 13 communities in the Qikiqtani region of Nunavut.
QIA is seeking external services to manage and implement the procurement process for skidoo and ATV equipment that is required for the successful operation of its regional Nauttiqsuqtiit guardian program. Ensuring that guardians have the appropriate equipment to conduct their work is essential; skidoos and ATV’s are critical to conducting safe and successful programs in the arctic. Getting this equipment to communities requires planning, logistics and project management to ensure that the equipment and materials are purchased and ready for the tight sealift schedule in the arctic.
The successful proponent will be required to coordinate the purchase of the equipment and materials required for each Nauttiqsqutiit program in the Qikiqtani region, in a timely manner to allow for the equipment to be included in the annual sealift to each community.
Proponents should have experience delivering and managing projects of similar scope and complexity.
