Iqaluit, Nunavut, March 18, 2022. The following is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of services by a Proponent or Contractor for the position of Chief Returning Officer (CRO) for the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA).

This RFP is issued in accordance with the QIA Election Regulations for the selection of a Chief Returning Officer who will supervise and direct the administration of the Election that has been fixed for December 12, 2022, pursuant to section 2.1 of the Election Regulations for the Qikiqtani region.

The purpose of the 2022 Election is to elect eligible candidates for the eight vacant positions on the QIA Board of Directors, including the role of the QIA President.

To submit your proposal, the proponent must submit either a hard copy or an electronic copy of their completed proposal. Hard copy submissions should be in a sealed envelope or other sealed packaging, clearly marked , “CRO Competition”. Electronic submissions must clearly indicate in the subject line of the email “CRO Competition” and include the full package proposal.

Proposals will be accepted until 5:00PM Eastern on March 31, 2022 (Closing date). Acceptance of late proposals is at the Qikiqtani Inuit Association’s sole discretion.
