Request for Proposal: Chief Returning Officer

QIA Election 2024

Iqaluit, Nunavut, July 19, 2024 – The following is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of services by a Proponent or Contractor for the position of Chief Returning Officer (CRO) for the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA).

This RFP is issued in accordance with the QIA Election Regulations for the selection of a CRO who will supervise and direct the administration of the Election that has been fixed for December 9, 2024, pursuant to section 2.1 of the Election Regulations for the Qikiqtani region.

The purpose of the 2024 Election is to elect eligible candidates for the Community Director positions of Grise Fiord, Resolute Bay, Pangnirtung, Kinngait, Qikiqtarjuaq and Arctic Bay on the QIA Board of Directors.  An election will also take place for the role of QIA Vice President and Secretary Treasurer.

To submit your proposal, the proponent must submit either a hard copy or an electronic copy of their completed proposal.  Hard copy submissions should be in a sealed envelope or other sealed packaging, clearly marked, “CRO RFP”.  Electronic submissions must clearly indicate in the subject line of the email “CRO RFP” and include the full package proposal.

Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on August 12, 2024.  Acceptance of late proposals is at the Qikiqtani Inuit Association’s sole discretion.
