The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is looking for energetic and dynamic individuals to fill the following board positions. To be considered, candidates must be actively and personally committed to represent the interests of beneficiaries of the Qikiqtani Region as well as a sound understanding of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA) as pertaining to the roles and mandates of the board(s) for which she/he is seeking nomination.

• 1 position – Inuit Heritage Trust (a 3-year term)
• 3 positions – Joint Parks Management Committee – AUYUITTUQ
• 3 positions – Joint Parks Management Committee – QUTTINIQPAAQ
• 2 positions – Joint Parks Management Committee – SIRMILIK
• 1 position – Parks Planning Team – AUYUITTUQ PARK
• 3 positions – Kakivak Grants and Loans Appeals Committee
• 1 position – Nunavut Planning Commission
• 2 positions – Nunavut Trust
• 1 position – Nunavut Water Board
• 1 position – QIA Social and Cultural Community Representative
• 1 position – QIA Social and Cultural Committee – women’s representative
• 1 position – Nunavut Disabilities Council
• 1 position – Nunavut Impact review Board
• 1 position – Qikiqtaaluk Corporation board member
