The Qikiqtani Inuit Association has been working with other stakeholders on the Quality of Life Secretariat and the Illisarsivik Society to provide training to increase access to Community-based, Inuit healing and wellness programs. Our goal is to build capacity of mental health supporters, counselors, and grief supporters in our communities. QIA wants to invite the next government to work hard to improve and increase access to the health care system in Nunavut.
