Iqaluit, Nunavut – April 25, 2025- The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Nunavut Quest, this year marked the 26th year of running the anticipated event. Qimuksiqtiit and their support teams travelled a total of 513 kilometres upon their departure from Pond Inlet on April 15th, 2025 and made it to Igloolik on April 23, 2025.

8th Place – Aiden Qaunaq – 57:49:11
The QIA sponsorship for this years Nunavut Quest included prize money, gasoline and oil support for snowmobiles, food for camps and dogs, and funds for celebrations in both Pond Inlet and Igloolik.
Thank you to the Nunavut Quest Committee, volunteers, participants and community members that made the Nunavut Quest another success. The ongoing legacy of Qimuksiqtiit in the Qikiqtani region lives on in the Quest and we look forward to following the mushers again next year from Igloolik to Pond Inlet.
