QIA to distribute 30,000L of bottled water in Iqaluit

Iqaluit, Nunavut – October 18, 2021 – To support Qikiqtani Inuit in Iqaluit during the ongoing Iqaluit water crisis QIA will distribute 30,000 litres of bottled water.

QIA would like to prioritize the distribution of water to the elderly and anyone else with additional barriers to accessing clean drinking water. Inuit in Iqaluit are asked to call the QIA front desk at 867.975.8400 to arrange delivery of bottled water. QIA will be delivering water during work hours Monday October 18th to Friday October 22nd.

Additionally, QIA will be providing $7,000 in support to Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre to support their efforts during this crisis.
