Iqaluit, Nunavut, May 4, 2023, The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking energetic individuals to submit their names for the following boards:

 Qikiqtani Youth representative- One Position (three-year term)

• Qikiqtani Womens representative – One position (three-year term)
• Sirmilik National Park Joint Planning and Management Committee – one position, until completion
• Qausuittuq National Park Joint Planning and Management Committee – one position, until completion
• Iqaluit Community Joint Planning and Management Committee for Iqaluit Kuunga and Qaummaarviit Territorial Parks – two positions, three year term
• Grise Fiord Community Joint Planning and Management Committee – Napaartulik Teritorial Park, one position, three year term
• Kakivak Association Board, One Position, (term to be determined)

QIA wishes to ensure complete Inuit participation in the implementation of the Nunavut Agreement. As such, QIA has implemented an open and accountable process for considering qualified candidates. Please note that a criminal records check may be required for appointments/nominations.

Deadline for all of the above is May 15th, 2023 at 5:00PM Eastern.
