Iqaluit, Nunavut, October 8, 2024 – Today, the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) Annual General Meeting will begin.
Meetings will be open to the public, starting at 9:00AM, at the Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Space.

Notable resolutions that will be presented: Consideration to convert the QIA Vice-President to a full-time position, presentation of Annual Reports and presentation of 2023-2024 financial statements.
The QIA Board of Directors Meeting begins tomorrow and will go on until Thursday afternoon.
Notable topics of discussion include: a Nunavut Inuit Heritage Centre Update, CLARC Manual Updates, Infrastructure Updates, Appointments and Nominations to Various Boards and progress reports from the QIA 2022-2026 Strategic Plan.
