QIA Advance Polls Start Today

Iqaluit, Nunavut – December 5, 2022 – Advance Polls for the QIA President and various Community Directors will be held today. Resolute Bay and Grise Fiord will be postponed due to blizzard conditions until the blizzard notice is lifted.  Due to blizzard conditions in Pangnirtung this morning, the polling station in Pangnirtung will be open between 1PM and 7PM tonight and again tomorrow from 10AM to 1PM.

Kinngait – Hamlet Office

Clyde River – Hamlet Office

Grise Fiord – Hamlet Office

Sanirajak – Community Hall

Igloolik – Hamlet Chamber

Iqaluit – Igluvut Building

Kimmirut – Iluiliq Wellness Centre

Pangnirtung –  Community Centre

Pond Inlet – Community Hall

Qikiqtarjuaq – Community Hall

Resolute Bay – Hamlet Chambers

Sanikiluaq – Kattavik Community Hall

 

Advance polls in Iqaluit will be extended to take place between December 6 and December 9, 2022 between 10AM and 3PM.

 

At the Larga Baffin polling station, there will only be ballots for the QIA president. If you are in Ottawa and want to vote for a Community Director, you must vote by proxy.
