The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is hosting its spring 2019 board meeting in Qikiqtarjuaq. The board gathering will include a community feast.
The board meeting agenda includes reports on QIA’s activities on key files such as the Inuit Impact Benefit Agreement for Tallurutiup Imanga National Marine Conservation Area and the Qikiqtani Truth Commission.
The board meeting is open to the public, the draft agenda is available on our website.
QIA will also be hosting a community feast in Qikiqtarjuaq at the Kativvik school gymnasium on June 4 at 6pm – everyone in the community is invited for country food and door prizes.
