EVENT: Call for Applications; the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is inviting proposals for QCAP projects
QIA is inviting proposals for QCAP proposals across the Qikiqtani Region.
Individual Inuit and community groups from all Qikiqtani communities are invited to submit proposals for projects to run between October 16, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
QCAP provides funding for community-based projects that allow community members to participate in and learn traditional skills, such as sewing, harvesting, and on-the-land activities.
QCAP is financed through QIA’s Benefits Fund. Money for the Benefits Fund is derived from the Legacy Fund, as the Legacy Fund grows its revenues go to the Benefits Fund to increase programs for Inuit.
Applications can be completed online at https://www.qia.ca/qcap-application/, or with the help of your local CLO.
