The Qikiqtani Inuit Association is proud to support the Mittima Food Bank Society in Pond Inlet.  The Mittima Food Bank Society was formed in 2018 with a goal to provide food to people in need in the community.

The society is made up of volunteers who help distribute 100 hampers of food (about 25 pounds per hamper) every second week. Most of the foods are purchased from local grocery stores, but the society is hoping to include county foods in their on-going effort to support harvesting and help provide food to those in need.

You can visit the Mittima Food Bank Society on Facebook to learn more or to get involved.
