Official Notice of By-Election

Notice is hereby given to the voting members of the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) that a by-election will be held on September 21, 2020.

The official list of Candidates is as follows:

Community Director – Igloolik

Erasmus Ivvalu

Natalino Piugattuk

Louis Tapardjuk

To be eligible to vote you must be a Canadian citizen, at least 16 years old on Election Day, an Inuk registered with Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and permanently residing in Igloolik.

The Polling station will be open in Igloolik from 10am to 7pm local time on September 14 for advance voting and on September 21, Election Day.
