The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill the CLO Supervisor role.

The Community Liaison Officer Supervisor (CLO Supervisor) has a key operational and managerial role within Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA). This position will support QIA’s requirement to have meaningful two-way communication with Qikiqtani Inuit. This position fulfills the mandate of a Community Liaison Officer and also supervises each of the other thirteen (13) Community Liaison Officers within the communities.

Under the direction of Executive Management, reporting to the Director of Administration, the CLO Supervisor will act as the principal point of contact for QIA and NTI in community-based communication and information sharing, program delivery, and program administration.

The incumbent will have strong supervisory and communication skills.

This position requires being on-call cellphone for the administration of the Compassionate and Bereavement program which is shared with the Iqaluit community Supervisor.

A combination of relevant education and experience be deemed as acceptable.

An acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

Fluency in Inuktitut and English is required.

Salary range for this position is $79,628.52 up to $116,788.51 per annum, plus a Northern Allowance of $27,600 per annum.
