Country Food Distribution in Iqaluit Today
Iqaluit, Nunavut, May 31, 2023 – The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) Board of Directors and the Amaruq Hunters and Trappers Association would like to invite Iqalummiut to the Cadet Hall at 5:00 PM today for a country food distribution.
The QIA Board makes every effort to provide benefits in the community they are hosting the meetings in. We would like to thank the harvesters in the Iqaluit that made this distribution possible. We would also like to thank the Royal Canadian Legion for donating the space for the distribution.
If you have not been able to attend the board meetings, they continue tomorrow at 9:00 AM and conclude on June 2nd at the Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Space. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or to view the LIVE stream through the QIA Facebook page or through ZOOM in Inuktitut and English.
