CASUAL EMPLOYMENT

Location: Iqaluit, Nunavut

Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) advances the rights and benefits of Qikiqtani Inuit through protecting and promoting our social, political, economic and cultural interests; while safeguarding the land, waters and resources that sustain our communities.

Qikiqtani Inuit Association has on-going casual employment opportunities for residents of Nunavut.

Casual employees are hired on a temporary basis to work on projects and assignments within various departments at Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA).  Casual employment is a great way to gain valuable work experience and learn more about working with QIA.

Applicants are asked to highlight their strengths, skills, specialized knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• Office Administration and computer skills
• Program Coordination
• Client Service and Community Outreach
• Environment and Conservation
• Research and Reporting
• Translations
• Policy Development

Preference will be given to Nunavut Inuit applicants enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.
