The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is looking for energetic and dynamic individuals to fill the following board positions. To be considered, candidates must be actively and personally committed to represent the interests of beneficiaries of the Qikiqtani Region as well as a sound understanding of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA) as pertaining to the roles and mandates of the board(s) for which she/he is seeking nomination.

• 1 position – Joint Parks Management Committee – QUTTINIRPAAQ (Click here for the JMPC guidelines)
• 1 position – Kakivak Association Board Member
• 1 position – Qikiqtaaluk Corporation
• 1 position – Nunavut Water Board
• 1 position – Nunavut Trust

QIA wishes to ensure the fullest beneficiary participation in the implementation of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement. As such, QIA has implemented an open and accountable process for considering qualified beneficiaries. Please note that a criminal records check may be required for appointments/nominations.
