Iqaluit, Nunavut, October 14, 2022 – The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is holding an election on December 12, 2022 and will be updating the Voters List for eligible Inuit.

To be eligible to vote you must be:

• An Inuk registered under the Nunavut Agreement
• 16 years old on December 12, 2022
• Have regularly resided in the Qikiqtani region for longer than one year

The Voters List will be posted in all communities and can also be viewed on QIA’s election page at www.qia.ca/qia-elections/

Our deadline to update the list is October 24, 2022.
