Iqaluit, Nunavut – October 2, 2020 – The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is holding an election on December 14, 2020 and wants to ensure members are on the Voters List. As such a campaign is launched encouraging members to check to see if they are on the Voters List.

To be eligible to vote you must be:

• An Inuk enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement,
• At least 16 years old on December 14, 2020 and
• Have regularly resided in the Qikiqtani Region for a period of not less than a year.

The Voters List will be posted in all communities and can also be viewed on QIA’s election page at www.qia.ca.

The deadline to update the list is October 23, 2020.
