The QIA Executive invited members of the Hamlet of Pond Inlet and the Hunters and Trappers Organization for an excursion to Milne Port, the offloading site for iron ore extracted from the Mary River Mine.

Unfortunately, the rough waters prevented the group from reaching the site, however the outing provided the opportunity for a productive dialogue between the QIA executive and the community leaders.
