Notice is hereby given of a General Meeting of Members on January 20, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. ET in Iqaluit.

Four resolutions will be proposed at the General Meeting of Members as Extraordinary Resolutions, concerning the following:

1. Approval of funding from the Government of Canada’s Skills and Partnership Fund to run the Qikiqtani Skills and Training for Employment Partnership (QSTEP) program between 2023 – 2028.
2. Approval of funding from the Government of Canada’s Indigenous Community Infrastructure Fund to develop and carry out QIA’s program of infrastructure projects.
3. Approval of funding from Oceans North Canada for QIA to formally assess marine conservation and protection options in the Qikiqtani region in addition to what is included in QIA’s Regional Conservation Approach proposal.
4. Approval of funding from the Harvester Support Grant to support the implementation of the Nauttiqsuqtiit program and increase food security in Tallurutiup Imanga communities.
