Pursuant to the Election Regulations, Article 27 and as at 5:01 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2012: I hereby, declare the following list of nominees as the Official List of Candidates for the 2012 QIA Elections.

I also hereby, declare Larry Audlaluk (Grise Fiord) and Paul Amagoalik (Resolute Bay) duly elected by acclamation following Article 29 (1) of the QIA Election Regulations. In the case of Larry Audlaluk, who is also running in the NTI Presidential election, his acclamation is subject to the outcome of NTI’s 2012 election. If the results are in his favor and he gets elected to NTI, he will have to withdraw himself from QIA and a byelection for the Community Director in Grise Fiord will be set. If he is not elected to
NTI, he remains acclaimed in QIA’s election.

Voting will take place on December 10, 2012. Inuit who are Canadian citizens, 16 years of age or older and enrolled under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement are eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
